Jonathan brings to the table over a decade of experience working with nonprofits, start-ups, and small businesses. His work has made impacts not only on the national stage in the United States, but also internationally in 10 countries across Latin America and Europe. In the nonprofit sector, he has an impressive record of leveraging major gifts, ranging from $25,000 to seven-digit figures, for programs and capital campaigns. More importantly, he has a proven record of forging strong, lasting cooperative relationships with philanthropic organizations, corporations, nonprofits and community organizations throughout the United States and internationally.
He has worked alongside municipal, nonprofit, and for-profit partners to secure strategic partnerships and leverage collaborative agreements with foundations, corporations, and federal/state funding agencies. In the United States, his fundraising, grant management, and program design services have, so far, secured millions of dollars for multi-year initiatives implemented by school districts, nonprofits, parks and public works departments.
Jonathan is currently pursuing a PhD in Inclusive Public Policy in the Universidad Mexicana de Estudios y Posgrados (UMEP) in Mexico. He currently holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Nonprofit Management from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts from Queens University. He currently serves on the Board of Play:ground NYC, a placemaking nonprofit based in New York City, and provides strategic planning, communications, and fundraising support. He is also the Founder of his own consultancy where he has supported nonprofit and for-profit organizations through strategic planning, business development and fundraising.
