We aspire to create an organization where we dismantle systemic barriers to advancement and value diverse perspectives and experiences to better serve our member community and advance our mission of Inclusive Capitalism.

At the Council for Inclusive Capitalism, we believe that diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) are fundamental to the Council’s mission of building a just and sustainable world.  

Our diverse members represent an engaged community of innovative leaders and practitioners whose commitments and actions are shaping more inclusive economies. Within the Council, our commitment to diversity encompasses our differences including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, socioeconomic background, and religious belief. We value and promote diverse perspectives that enhance our ability to better serve our member community. 

We work to create an equitable environment where everyone has access to opportunities and resources, free from systemic barriers and discrimination. We are continuing to design and implement hiring and training policies through quarterly virtual and in-person training that promote fairness and address inequalities within our organization and society. 

We believe inclusion is about creating safe spaces and a culture where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute. We promote an environment of open dialogue, mutual respect, allyship, and collaboration. We provide training and resources to enhance cultural competency and inclusive leadership among our staff.  

As a community of organizations creating long-term value for all stakeholders, cultivating a sense of belonging among our staff and members is fundamental to our work. For more people to benefit from inclusive capitalism, the Council strives to create a culture in which everyone feels empowered to contribute their perspectives and experiences both within our organizations’ operations and by the advancement of our mission.
