Carson Thal is the Senior Programs Manager for the Council for Inclusive Capitalism. He focuses on engaging with companies large and small on developing commitments for advancing inclusive capitalism and working with industry-leading professionals on expanding best practices around sustainability.
Carson has experience working with a wide range of stakeholders, including NGOs and the public and private sectors. Before joining the Council, he worked in management consulting, focusing on geopolitical risk, supply chain diversification and various energy sector issues. Carson started his career on Capitol Hill as a legislative aide responsible for a portfolio including natural resources policy and regulating natural gas production on U.S. public lands. He also worked in Europe at a think tank, The Center for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy, assessing the EU’s internal gas market. Carson has a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
