Our team has been operating in impact investing and in Emerging Markets since the 1980s. We are focused on providing the funding platforms, products and tools to bridge the gaps between the needs of investors and entrepreneurs and businesses, enabling investors to deploy, monitor, report on and get liquidity from their investments in sustainable businesses and projects, and businesses to access capital, technology, expertise and other resources. We have offices, partners, teams and a network built up around the world since the 1980s, enabling us to operate globally.

Summary

SDG Global will promote sustainable development by building a funding platform for Africa, to provide a safe, secure; transparent channel to encourage the flow of capital into by the end of 2022.

Activities & Initiatives

Entrepreneurs and businesses in Africa have difficulty accessing capital, expertise and technology due to relatively undeveloped financial systems in the Continent, and investor fears about Africa. International investors, organisations and businesses have difficulty accessing the information they need to invest, and are deterred by insufficient disclosure and regulatory systems to meet their requirements, and a lack of liquidity and exit routes. We are creating a platform, meeting international disclosure requirements, thru which local and international investors can access, finance and trade investment opportunities in Africa, and African projects can access funding.

Measures & Targets

Have at least one funding platform in Africa operational by the 2nd half of 2022 to help build businesses; fund projects promoting employment, entrepreneurship, sustainable development.
