Purpose

Our purpose is to provide the incarcerated, veterans, inner city youth and high schoolers a second chance at life to reduce crime and recidivism. We’ve created a unique learning experience we call the Promising People Learning Platform built on Unity, the world’s leading platform for creating and operating interactive, real-time 3D content. Our learning program delivers a self-paced training curriculum for trade occupations that allows anyone, anywhere, the ability to earn an entry-level certification. After completing the program, students have the option to be hired by Promising People Placement, LLC to make a competitive wage working for a company that offers excellent growth potential and the opportunity for a paid apprenticeship.

Summary

Promising People Enterprises, LLC will reduce recidivism by providing education programs, employment and faith-based support for the incarcerated, veterans, inner city youth and high schoolers with the goal of reaching more than 2,000,000 by 2030.

Activities & Initiatives

Promising People Enterprises, LLC will reduce recidivism by providing education programs using the latest Mixed Reality technologies for the incarcerated, veterans, inner city youth and high schoolers. The learning is delivered using virtual reality headsets. Lessons are delivered via 3D stereoscopic color video using real tools and presented in a point-of-view format with multi optional language tracks. Practice sessions in the headset use digital tools in VR format both for practice and testing. This is followed by hands-on practice and testing. Graduates receive a full set of tools and placement with contracting organizations. From the moment of first engagement in the program, a student is linked to an appropriate faith-based mentor who helps design the person's re-entry program, supports students during all learning phases, and maintains support throughout re-entry and employment to help resolve financial, mental health, family and on-the-job challenges to ensure the person stays on-the-job and succeeds in their second chance at life.

Measures & Targets

Promising People Enterpises, LLC ("PPE") measures progress by tracking the number of inclusion programs aimed at boosting diversity with a goal of reaching more than 2,000,000 by 2030. The mixed reality delivery model is a renaissance in lesson delivery because of its versatility and scalability. The only limitation is 'the next contracted teaching location' and 'the number of headsets' supplied to students. PPE will track the following measurements:

1. Number of people of diverse origins and gender who undertake the training.
2. % who complete all lessons.
3. % who prove competence and graduate.
4. % who secure employment.
5. % who remain on the job.
