Over the past twenty-five years, my colleagues and I at the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) have devoted our professional lives to helping businesses, governments, and people from every corner of the world work together. Our daily mission is to address entrenched and emerging global challenges and stimulate greater economic cooperation and growth through creative solutions and strategic partnerships.
Since my selection as CEO of BCIU in 1996, I’ve tried to develop BCIU into a catalyst for positive global change with an emphasis on emerging markets and respect for the power of public-private partnerships. The scale of our impact varies by project, but our commitment to global cooperation and progress grows every year.
Building bridges to international understanding and engagement is my professional calling. I am particularly interested in assisting capable, ethical management teams expand and overcome last mile challenges around the world. I am immensely grateful to my colleagues who join me in leveraging BCIU’s trusted position to create partnerships and help connect the unconnected.
As we move into a future marked by ever-deeper global challenges across health, environment, and security, BCIU will continue to serve as a reliable strategic partner in the effort to achieve more equality and opportunity in the global community. We will live up to our values of inclusivity and diversity and provide a platform for all stakeholder voices, so that all parties reap the benefits of collaboration and commercial diplomacy.
