Lucy Muigai is the Chief Executive Officer of B Lab Africa. B Lab Africa is part of a global network of interdependent organizations driving economic systems change. Together, they create best-in-class standards, policies, programs and tools for businesses, and certify companies, known as B Corps, who are leading the way.
Lucy has been with B Lab Africa for the past 6 years and was part of B Lab Africa’s founding team. She has more than 15 years of cumulative experience across various sectors. This includes a wealth of experience having worked with leading organisations in the development space.
Lucy is passionate about helping businesses succeed while having a positive impact on all their stakeholders, not just for their shareholders. She believes in harnessing the power of business to tackle our social and environmental challenges.
Lucy is also a Board Advisor at Bringo Fresh, an Agtech social enterprise that supports businesses source fresh quality produce from farms at competitive prices.
Lucy holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Financial Planning from Curtin University of Technology, in
Western Australia.
