Isabella da Costa Mendes is Founding Partner and Co-CEO of ImpactA Global. With 30 years’ experience across law, investment banking, and structuring in EM, she has led transactions that unlocked over US$10 billion of critical impact financing for infrastructure in over 40 EM throughout her career. Her expertise lies in the origination and structuring of complex transactions, with a particular interest in sustainable infrastructure. In 2015, she founded Catara Consulting, specialists in credit structuring across a range of emerging markets jurisdictions. Isabella’s background includes leading the EM structured credit teams at FKS Capital Partners, Renaissance Capital, Morgan Stanley and J.P. Morgan. Isabella also chairs the Board Risk Management Committee of ICBC Standard Bank plc.
