Fareed is the founder and CEO of a nonprofit organisation, Mindsum.org. His mission is to deliver quality and personalised mental healthcare services to children, young people, and their families. Being a tech entrepreneur, he aims to use technology to put quality mental healthcare in the hands of every young person on the planet, faster, and at scale.
He believes that our reliance on technology is changing humanity. The smartphones, social media, connected devices, and AI – all are shaping our sense of personal identity, our social relationships, and our physical and mental health. We evolved technology, and now technology is evolving us in new ways.
At Mindsum, Fareed and his team are building a Mental Wellbeing System that uses technology to deliver reliable services for free, and irrespective of race, gender, location, and wealth.
