Alex is a dedicated, vibrant and self-motivated professional, with excellent management skills and a natural leadership style. With over 20 years’ experience in sustainability, behaviour change, conservation and protected areas management, he has a strong understanding of the conservation and social issues affecting the UK and internationally. He has an MSc in Environmental Management and applies this to address human and environmental problems from a landscape scale perspective.
He has lived and work in South East Asia, Australia and Africa, using his diverse background in ecology, the arts, teaching and social engagement to support communities and natural systems. More recently he has worked on the strategic development of organisations and establishing senior stakeholder adoption within international development, the public health sector and public parks.
Alex is passionate about providing innovative solutions in tackling poverty and climate change, working with nature based solutions to solve some of the planet’s biggest challenges.
