Summary

Patterson Construction Group would like to become more environmentally friendly - something often overlooked in the world of construction - by reducing air pollution by 60% by 2024 and excess construction waste by 80% by 2023.

Objectives

Reduce air pollution by using equipment that produces lower, or no, emissions. Use materials and methods of construction that create biodegradble or no waste. Influence the use of alternative energy equipment wherever applicable and available. Protect surrounding environments from damage caused by construction. Influence developers and architects to build in more energy-efficient designs and away from wildlife habitats.

Metrics & Targets

Patterson Construction Group would like to become more environmentally friendly – something often overlooked in the world of construction – by reducing air pollution by 60% by 2024 and excess construction waste by 80% by 2023. Construction equipment that uses gasoline and oil directy attributes to air pollution – as does various chemicals that are used commonly in the building of a structure. We would identify the machinery and chemicals that cause air pollution and find alternatives. The excess construction waste is the wasted metals, plastic, wood, and so forth; that find their way into the landfill or elsewhere in the environment. Patterson Construction Group will make way to become an industry leader to lead forth a zero-waste policy.
