LGBT+ VC is the first nonprofit in the nation addressing the LGBTQ investment and wealth gap in America. To do that, LGBT+ VC provides access to networks, programs, and information, helping LGBTQ individuals become angel investors, venture scouts, limited partners, and venture capitalists. Our immediate work is to promote more equitable LGBTQ representation, particularly in leadership and investment positions. To-date, we have successfully educated, trained, and convened more than 2,000 new and active LGBTQ investors. Our broader vision is to drive societal progress towards economic parity and foster intergenerational wealth for all.
Purpose

LGBT+ VC is dedicated to advancing LGBTQ financial inclusion and economic prosperity through the transformative power of venture capital. The nonprofit transforms LGBTQ lives from poverty to prosperity. LGBT+ VC is one of the fastest growing nonprofits in America and has been recognized by NY Governor Kathy Hochul and NYC for its impact on the lives of women and young girls. LGBTQ (Lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer) and allies served by the nonprofit are women, people of color, newly-arrived immigrants, veterans, religious minorities, among other diverse backgrounds.
