We see IPIECA as an early beacon for the industry on Just Transition, given your mission and history of advancing environmental and social performance across the energy transition. We are excited for your JT Task Force, and recognize the way in which the activities of your other initiatives such as the Social Responsibility Group, Climate Change Group and Sustainable Dev Goals Task Force, support company pragmatic adoption of JT.

With three IPIECA members having developed the Framework and using it to inform their JT planning (bp, Repsol, ENI), we invite IPIECA members to make use of the Framework and share out your own actions for JT.

IPIECA is an important partner in this work to provide clarity for companies on actions they can take to advance a just transition. We see applicable learnings across the Climate Change Group, Social Responsibility Group, Sustainable Development Goals TF and with implementing the SDG Roadmap, and Just Transition TF, and aim to be of support to these bodies of work.
