Arab Youth Climate Movement Qatar LLC(G) is:

A first registered, independent nonprofit, youth-led, grassroots organization in the State of Qatar.
Focusing on raising environmental awareness at grassroots level targeting youth and adult groups.
Seeking to become an informed voice on climate and ecological crisis and co-create cost-effective solutions that is relevant to local environment and culture.
Striving to develop scientific and policy-relevant knowledge.
Promoting active participation in the dialogue and building solutions for various groups.
Reaching out to community through publishing research findings, reports, social media, public lectures.

Purpose

Mission:

The mission of the AYCMQ is to build a movement which fosters understanding of our natural ecosystems, empowers and inspires the community to take effective action in resolving the current ecological crisis, and advocates for evidence-based policies to adapt, mitigate, conserve and protect our ecosystem.

Strategic Objectives:

Develop holistic educational programs to raise awareness on climate crisis.
Build local and international partnerships to expand knowledge.
Create a shared vision of Qatar’s ecological future.
Engage youth in co-creating solutions to our local environmental problems.
Advocate for behavioral and policy change through sustained grassroots campaigns, policy briefings and reports.
