He holds an MBA from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and studied Accounting and Financial Management at Tecnológico de Monterrey. Recognised as a pioneer in the social entrepreneurship ecosystem, since 2004, Rodrigo and New Ventures have been driving disruptive solutions that challenge the status quo and help create the society we want to live in. He was selected as an Ashoka Fellow and is widely recognised as one of the country’s leading figures in social and environmental entrepreneurship. He is the president of the Alliance for Impact Investing in Mexico, participated as a member of the executive committee of the Aspen Network for Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE), Iniciativa Mexico, and CI Banco.
