My name is Dion with Community Dreams Foundation. We’re a nonprofit organization where our mission is to provide resources and access to financing for property owners in underserved communities seeking energy efficient and clean energy projects. After a decade in the corporate retrofit and solar industries, traveling throughout the country as a business development specialist, I realized how low to moderate income areas were being strategically denied services and lacked access to traditional financing options. To make the energy transition more equitable, I began creating innovative solutions that were mutually beneficial for organizations and the community. I decided to scale that impact by founding Community Dreams, a 501c3.
