Ali M. Aksu is of Circassian descent, currently residing in New York City. Ali moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA where he studied Economics with a minor in Film & TV. Later he studied entrepreneurship at the Global Startup Program at Singularity University, a non-profit organization that incubates startups that solve global challenges. Ali now runs a FINRA licensed equity crowdfunding platform in the entertainment industry and actively manages Aksu family office portfolio focusing on early-stage tech investments. He is also a film producer and a young professionals ambassador to the United Nations Association, where he leads several initiatives around the Sustainable Development Goals. Ali is a life-long learner and loves reading fiction books and traveling. He is excited to learn from the others in the community and looking forward to bringing a unique perspective through his media oriented background.
