Olivia Harris is the Digital Communications Manager for the Council for Inclusive Capitalism. Working with the Communications Director, she provides full-spectrum communication support for the Council’s website, member emails, events, social media, and other communication platforms.
She has seven years’ experience sharing impactful brand stories and inviting audiences to participate in the missions of academic research institutes, nonprofit organizations, online retailers, and community colleges. Immediately before joining the Council, Olivia was tapped to revitalize the recruitment and admissions marketing strategy for Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC), the City University of New York’s largest school connecting majority first-generation college students. Previously, she developed written and visual content for the Institute for Sustainability, Energy, and Environment (iSEE) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Self-described as a “do-it-all communicator,” she loves the challenge of developing an intriguing idea scribbled down during a brainstorming meeting into a fully-realized campaign or product, and doing it on-deadline!
Olivia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Environmental Communication and Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she graduated with highest honors. She lives in New York, NY.
