Deepali Srivastava is an independent Editorial Advisor for the Council for Inclusive Capitalism. She has extensive experience partnering with business and nonprofits leaders in turning complex topics into compelling evidence-based narratives—from ideation to publication—on climate, energy, workforce, and social impact topics. Her experience encompasses qualitative research, policy analysis, content development, and executive communications.
Deepali has worked in inhouse roles and as a consultant to private sector and nonprofit think tanks, including: PwC, The Conference Board, The Bridgespan Group, Engie Impact, Visa Economic Empowerment Institute, Egon Zehnder, and Mercer. Deepali’s experience includes working at Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy where she successfully launched and led the digital publication Energy Explained and produced and moderated an expert webinar series on environmental justice, co-sponsored by several Columbia University schools and centers.
Executive thought leadership ghostwritten or edited by Deepali has been published in Harvard Business Review, Time, Project Syndicate, and CNBC.com. Deepali’s own essays, columns and book reviews on sustainability and social justice have appeared in media outlets such as Next City, strategy+business, Scroll (India), Forbes Asia, and MSNBC.
Deepali earned MA in International Political Economy and Development from Fordham University in New York, and BA in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, India.
