Amanda Byrd is the Marketing and Communications Director for the Coalition for Inclusive Capitalism and the Council for Inclusive Capitalism. She oversees the organizations’ external strategy, engagements, and brand including PR, editorial, creative, and channel management. Amanda has led marketing, communications, and public affairs practices for thinktanks and nonprofit organizations and as a consultant for large corporations and startups for fifteen years. Prior to joining the Council and Coalition, Amanda headed the cross-center communications team at the U.S. Chamber Foundation, built the communications practice at the Economic Innovation Group, and worked with numerous technology and healthcare companies in an agency setting. Amanda is an advisor to Electo Analytics, a public affairs software platform and Column, a technology company supporting the distribution of public interest information. She serves on the alumni advisory committee for West Virginia University’s school of journalism and is a founding member of Couture Circle. Amanda grew up in West Virginia, lived in Pittsburgh, and now resides in Washington, D.C.
