Sindh Green Foundation
Sindh Green Foundation (SGF) is a youth focused, non-government, humanitarian, and development organization. SGF is registered with Social Welfare Department of Sindh Government, Pakistan. SGF was established by a dedicated group of students, human rights activists, social workers, youth, and climate activists. Since 2010, SGF has operated in Sindh province in Pakistan providing youth and local Indigenous communities with education opportunities, capacity development, social inclusion, and basic health care, as well as promoting environmental conservation. SGF is committed to work for backward rural segments with special focus to youth meaningful participation and inclusion of vulnerable and deprived segments such as women, minorities, and person with disabilities (PWDs). Since its establishment, SGF has remained privileged in getting the opportunity to work with several diverse partners. SGF has gathered sufficient experience through implementing short as well as long term interventions. Some of the partners includes Global Fund for Children, Norwegian Church Aid (NCA), Plan International, Sports & Youth Affairs Department Government of Sindh, Social Welfare Department, Center for Peace & Development Initiatives (CPDI), TDEA-FAFEN, Channa Development Association (CDA) and Education Development Organization.

Purpose

SGF is striving to strengthen the society by generating knowledge, providing participatory, equitable and innovative solutions, facilitating access to rights & resources at all levels for a better and sustainable future.
