Sewa Development Trust

Sewa Development Trust Sindh (SDTS) is a leading non-profit organization based in Sindh, Pakistan, dedicated to community development and humanitarian support since 2003. Registered under the Trust Act 1882, SDTS is certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) and holds Special Consultative Status with UN-ECOSOC since 2014.

SDTS works to empower marginalized communities through education, health, livelihoods, disaster response, climate resilience, governance, and women’s empowerment. The organization has successfully implemented over 50 projects, partnering with international donors, UN bodies, and government institutions to create sustainable impact.

With a strong local presence, SDTS is actively engaged in seven districts of Sindh, working closely with communities, youth, and local institutions to promote inclusive development, social justice, and resilience building.

SDTS focuses on sustainable development through a variety of projects and initiatives. The mission of SDTS is to foster equitable and sustainable development in Sindh, ensuring that marginalized and vulnerable communities have access to essential resources and opportunities. The organization envisions a just society where every individual has the chance to live a dignified life.

SDTS has made significant strides in improving the lives of countless individuals across Sindh. Through its multifaceted approach to development, the organization has helped reduce poverty, improve education and healthcare, empower women, promote environmental sustainability, and enhance community resilience against disasters.

By continuing to collaborate with local, national, and international partners, SDTS aims to scale its efforts and make a lasting impact on the socio-economic landscape of Sindh.

Goals of SDTS:

Purpose

Founded in 2003, SDTS envisions “a society with prosperity and secure life”, where every individual—regardless of gender, status, or background—has access to equal opportunities, dignity, and resilience.

Our mission is to strengthen communities through initiatives in education, health, economic empowerment, climate action, and good governance, with a strong focus on gender equality, youth leadership, and human rights.
