Progreso is a leading company in cement, materials and solutions for construction, with business units in the Construction, Agro, Energy and Real Estate Development sectors. We have a presence in 7 Latin American countries, as well as exports to other countries in Central America, the Caribbean, Mexico and part of South America.

Purpose

We contribute to building sustainable projects that contribute to infrastructure, housing and improvement of the quality of life in the countries where we work. Summary

Cementos Progreso will keep the clinker to cement ratio below the IPCC's global reference by using at least 25% of low carbon substitute materials by 2025.

Activities & Initiatives

By the use of low carbon supplementary cementitious materials, Cementos Progreso has gradually reduced the clinker to cement ratio, which started at 84.9%. We will continue investing in research and development of existing and new materials in order to mantain or increase their use and our substitution practices.

Measures & Targets

Cementos Progreso will measure progress by tracking the clinker to cement ratio in the final product with a goal of not exceeding 75%.
