SkinX is committed to building stronger, healthier communities by supporting small businesses across the US and creating 1,000,000 jobs five years from the day our first investment is made.
SkinX plans to use the Locker tracker to record every job created through SkinX supporting businesses, portfolio companies’ supply chains, in their communities and by their service providers. SkinX also tracks the # of jobs created by our company’s activities in operating our own business including our service providers and our communities.
SkinX tracks each job in Quin, shares these stories on our site, shares the data monthly in our dashboards and in our quarterly report.
SkinX is focused on funding growing businesses with 20-99 employees which according to Census.gov defines the largest group of firms in the U.S. Per data from the NVCA if a firm of this size receives an investment of $750,000 or more, they will create on average 20 full time jobs in each firm. SkinX is targeting $1 million investments in 3,498 businesses. Each business will also track and report via Quin the jobs created within their supply chain and service providers. According to the SBA data, each small business firm that grows year over year for three years creates 35 jobs.
A new job is defined by a new hire, an individual starting part-time or full-time work in exchange for compensation.
SkinX fund will launch by the end 2022.
