OurBanc Corporation
OurBanc Corporation (OurBanc) is a financial technology (FinTech) company built with today's economy and our dynamic society in mind. We recognize that many Americans are financially unhealthy, with the highest concentration being African Americans, Hispanics, and members of Indigenous communities. Our mission is to do our part in dismantling the systematic barriers that exist within America's financial system by channeling the transformative power of purpose, community, and innovative technology to provide historically disenfranchised people with more transparent, and equitable financial products and services.

Purpose

We believe that the promise of equitable and accessible services heralded by financial technology is yet to be fulfilled, especially for historically disenfranchised communities.

We are not content to be a ‘Black-only’ or ‘LatinX-only’ fintech, and we recognize that America’s financial system, with high default rates on student loans and employment discrimination, among other factors, has resulted in a wide racial wealth gap.

We believe in providing the people we serve the ability to view, manage, move, and grow their money to improve their financial health.

We believe this will end the perpetual deterioration of wealth in the African American, Hispanic, and Indigenous communities.

We believe it is vital to state clearly to the world the set of our beliefs about Inclusive Capitalism. As such, we start with our Statement of Guiding Principles for Inclusive Capitalism. Knowing that words alone are not enough, each of us is making a series of commitments about how we will operate our institutions so that they help achieve Inclusive Capitalism. These commitments are forward-looking statements based on current goals, expectations and assumptions, which are not guarantees of future performance.
