Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Nehemiah drives sustainable change in the community and works to eradicate generational poverty by offering second-chance employment for the people who need it most. Nehemiah provides meaningful tools and resources to support their team members as they contribute to the production, packaging, distribution, and marketing of leading household and baby care brands. With over 200 family members, three quarters of which are second-chance hires, Nehemiah has grown to be a $60M+ mission-driven enterprise.

Summary

Nehemiah Manufacturing is committed to continuing to create more jobs for the underserved community of Lower Price Hill in the urban core of Cincinnati. Nehemiah commits to creating an incremental 25 jobs (goal of 75%+ Second Chance Hires) by 2024.

Activities & Initiatives

Nehemiah has recently opened a new facility adjacent to current building which will expand Nehemiah services, including eCommerce fulfillment. This will provide opportunity for more job opportunities for the Lower Price Hill Community (located in the urban core of Cincinnati).

Measures & Targets

Nehemiah will measure progress by tracking overall job creation above and beyond its original 125 job commitment. We plan to add at least 25 jobs for a total of 150. We will also track % of jobs employing Second Chance employees (target 75%+).
