Natura &Co will achieve equitable pay, closing the gender gap by 2023.

Activities & Initiatives

Natura &Co will continue to partner with global HR consultancy, Mercer, to ensure independent quality assurance and reliable methodology. We will focus on policies and processes impacting rewards. For example, new hire rates, merit increases, promotion, and female retention. In addition, Natura &Co will establish a more consistent and monitored pay equity adjustment process.

Measures & Targets

Natura &Co will measure progress by tracking the unexplained pay gap (%) with a goal of <0.5%.

Summary

25% of all plastic packaging used by Natura &Co will be of recycled content (in weight) by 2030, under the Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s New Plastics Economy Global Commitment.

Activities & Initiatives

Natura &Co will expand its use of post-consumer recycled PET, develop a value chain for other types of plastic (eg PE and PP), and reduce the consumption of plastic through a refill strategy.

Measures & Targets

Natura &Co will measure progress by tracking the % of plastic packaging used which is recycled content (in weight) with a goal of 25%.

Activities & Initiatives

Natura &Co will increase revenue streams with 55 bio-ingredients (from 38). In addition, we will expand our inﬂuence on forest preservation from 1.8m to 3m ha, and from 33 to 40 communities. Finally, we will extend Natura’s 16 year payment of ABS (access and beneﬁt sharing) to the Group, as per UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) / Nagoya Protocol.

Natura &Co will measure progress by tracking the total value shared (R$) annually with Amazonian communities with a goal of $R60 million.
