National Indian Carbon Coalition
The National Indian Carbon Coalition (NICC) was established as a program under the Indian Land Tenure Foundation & Intertribal Agriculture Council to reacquire tribal lands through revenue generated by the sale of carbon credits created by nature-based climate solutions. NICC uniquely contributes to this work by cultivating holistic systems projects that strengthen Indigenous land stewardship, promote measurable resiliency, and create benefits for communities to thrive.

Purpose

We envision long-term global climate resilience through Indigenous stewardship of thriving ecosystems.
