Summary

MotaWord commits itself to reach out, employ and train women from areas of the world where access to gainful employment opportunities are scarce; in an effort to provide them with remote work and economic empowerment by January 2025.

Activities & Initiatives

To empower women in disadvantaged parts of the world, MotaWord will be conducting an outreach plan to find, train and recruit women as translators.

Measures & Targets

Our Community Management teams will be creating a baseline data analysis on our over 25 thousand active translator base in order to understand the current location and gender of our translators. We will use this baseline as a guide.

Our efforts will be focused on a predetermined number of locales and we will be working on recruiting women and training them to work with our translation platform for access to remote work.

Once the recruitment stage is done, we will compare the data against the baseline and see our results.

The idea will be to identify the underdeveloped countries in which we do not have translators and focus recruitment efforts to employ more women from these countries.
