The Global Humanitarian Reserve commits to building homes in less fortunate communities in Mexico and Belize, with the goal of creating thousands of jobs by 2030.
Global Humanitarian Reserve (GHR) will continue building homes in Mexico and we are proud to say that we are now starting a home building program to help Dean John of Florida who helped establish St. Agnes' Anglican Church in Belize. A great deal of work has been ongoing by Deacon John, his wife and Dr. Al Koller. The Belize Chief of Police has been highly instrumental in helping the building as well as in bringing in helpers for the hands on garden building. Gardens are extremely important because they provide fruits and vegetables. People growing their own fruits and vegetables no longer have to buy these items at the food store, they grow it in their yard.
We will be applying the same construction plans we used to build homes in Mexico when we start construction in Belize.
Global Humanitarian Network (GHR) will measure progress by tracking the number of jobs created in underrepresented communities during the first construction phase and we will lmeasure progress again when we enter phase two which will be the furnishing of the homes with appliances.
