Emerald Peak Private Equity is a provider of flexible growth and expansion capital to rising SGBs and mature SMEs in underserved markets. Recognizing existing capital markets gaps and the depth of social inequalities highlighted by the pandemic, our goal is to create financial value and catalyze positive impact. Our impact private equity approach is a purpose-built hybrid of traditional private equity methodology and impact investment practices in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Purpose

In addition to enhancing financial value, we work with our portfolio companies to create an impact action plan that identifies baselines, goals, and outcomes metrics around impact themes such as quality jobs, energy efficiency, and waste management. The Emerald Peak team implements both operating and impact action plans in parallel throughout the investment process.

We believe it is vital to state clearly to the world the set of our beliefs about Inclusive Capitalism. As such, we start with our Statement of Guiding Principles for Inclusive Capitalism. Knowing that words alone are not enough, each of us is making a series of commitments about how we will operate our institutions so that they help achieve Inclusive Capitalism. These commitments are forward-looking statements based on current goals, expectations and assumptions, which are not guarantees of future performance.
