Ecoprotein Pvt is an insect farming company. We farm insects from leftover food and organic waste and produce insect meal and oil which will replace fish meal and oil. "For every ton of insects we produce we save ton of fish in the ocean and 23 tons CO2 equivalent". We want to process 15000 tons of organic waste per day and prevent 53000 tons of CO2 equivalent emissions.

Ecoprotein Pvt Ltd has an organic processing plant capacity of 1 to 2 tons per day. We are located in the small town of Turuvekere, near Bengaluru, India, where the entire town's segregated organic waste falls between 0.5 to 1 ton per day. We receive organic waste from Municipal corporation, the collected organic waste is processed and fed to Black soldier fly larvae, the organic waste will be converted to frass within 12hrs, the larvae is harvested periodically and converted into valuable feedstocks. Also, in turn, it will reduce methane emissions into the atmosphere per year.
Ecoprotein will keep track of the quantity of organic waste processed in our plant and the quantity of insects we produce. The targeted value is to process 18250 tones of organic waste per year.
