Center for International Law and Policy

The Center for International Law and Policy (CILP) is based at New England Law | Boston. CILP supports the mission of New England Law | Boston to  (1) prepare students to be successful lawyers and leaders in the public and private sectors through integrated practical, theoretical, and ethical education of the highest caliber; and (2) contribute to the improvement of American, foreign, and international legal systems through participation in the debate over the fairness and efficacy of those systems, research and publication, public service, and other work that furthers the interests of justice.

CILP strives to engage a range of internal and external stakeholders to explore pressing and contemporary human rights issues and challenges. CILP collaborates with partners across the globe to conduct cutting-edge research on issues of international significance and real-world ramifications with a special focus on business and human rights, transitional justice, the rule of law, and access to remedy.  CILP convenes and hosts speakers series, workshops and other programming to assured continued education and dialogue on these themes.
