CeNext Consulting Group

CeNext provides advisory and consulting services to CEOs, corporate Boards, Family enterprises, and governments, on “Leveraging Reality to Shape Your Future Before it Shapes You”. In the aftermath of the Covid Pandemic and the war in Ukraine, an unusual phenomenon pervades the world; people are not even aware that they are unaware of the new ground realities. Leaders do not even realize that what they know has become a prime impediment in knowing what they do not know.

CeNext, focused on looking ahead and ‘seeing next’, facilitates the process to generate the new trajectories of sustained and sustainable growth, based on the four non-negotiable “New Tenets of Business” that relate to the New Reality. They constitute the foundation of “inclusive capitalism.” These are the new catalysts for “ease of doing business”. Following these 4 Tenets is not a matter of choice. For those who wish to prevail – it is mandatory.

  1. ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) issues: Collective Interest and Social and Environmental Justice take precedence over maximization of Profits.
  2. DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion): Respect for women and minorities, support for youth activism, and regard for trade unions.
  3. Corporate Character: Ethical corporate citizenship, transparency and humility &
  4. Create and nurture a company with sustainable profitability.

CeNext helps leaders of global corporations and institutions to choose the path forward, create a natural alignment of the leadership teams, evolve strategies to achieve the new goals, and continually nurture and correct the vision at each phase of implementation, while spawning a culture of continuous innovation and productivity.

Purpose

PURPOSE

To catalyze transition from “leadership to responsible leadership”, and from “entrepreneurship to responsible entrepreneurship”, in every domain in business and society.

What it Means

  • A responsible leader is responsible not only for what she says and does, but also for what she does not say, and does not do.

She accepts personal accountability for everything she and her team do, or don’t do. In practice, this reflects in her ‘ability to respond responsibly’, with understanding, sensitivity, and urgency.

  • Responsible Entrepreneurship is being responsible and accountable that the money you make is neither at the cost of nature, nor at the cost of any part of the society, wherever you operate.

It is not about making less money; it is about making money in a manner that leads to a “Triple Top Line” of joy, peace, and contentment, not only for everyone in the organization, but also for every life that touches the organization.

We believe it is vital to state clearly to the world the set of our beliefs about Inclusive Capitalism. As such, we start with our Statement of Guiding Principles for Inclusive Capitalism. Knowing that words alone are not enough, each of us is making a series of commitments about how we will operate our institutions so that they help achieve Inclusive Capitalism. These commitments are forward-looking statements based on current goals, expectations and assumptions, which are not guarantees of future performance. Summary

CeNext is committed to accelerate the transition from “leadership to responsible leadership”, and from “entrepreneurship to responsible entrepreneurship”, in every domain in business and society and will report bi-annually on their program impact.

Activities & Initiatives

We do that in four ways:
  1. Direct engagement with CEOs, Leadership Teams, and Boards of corporations, family enterprises, institutions, think tanks, and universities.
  2. Consultative Processes with Non-Profits and NGOs, on making an impact to “move the needle”, through unassailable alignment with like-minded institutions.
  3. Conducting workshops, intensive dialogues, and interactive conversations on these themes with independent directors, corporate and government leaders, to sensitize them on the need for a transformation to new paradigms of leadership.
  4. Periodic publication of articles, and interviews and conversations with various relevant forums on the new societal forces that are radically transforming the way business will be conducted hereafter. We also propose to bring out a book on the new realities and how they are relentlessly changing every aspect of how a corporation is governed.

Measures & Targets

CeNext will be monitoring and reporting these specific actions on CIC site, every six months – along with specific impact of the activities in each of the 4 domains above.

SDG Focus Area(s):

Summary

CeNext is committed to accelerate the transition from “leadership to responsible leadership”, and from “entrepreneurship to responsible entrepreneurship” through engaging with at least 200 decision-makers and policy-initiators by December 2024.

Activities & Initiatives

We do so with specific focus on ‘Principles of Governance’ – what it entails and how it re-shapes an organization’s character to become a global leader in both – its business domain, as well as in ‘Inclusive Capitalism’. We generate convictions that it is doable – provided there is a non-negotiable ethos that transparently pursues ‘profits with conscience, growth with equity and compatibility with nature’.

We do that in three ways:

  1. Direct engagement with CEOs, Leadership Teams, and Boards of corporations, family enterprises, institutions, think tanks, and universities.
  2. Consultative Processes with Non-Profits and NGOs, on making an impact to “move the needle”, through unassailable alignment with like-minded institutions; and build consensus on creating ‘the world we deserve’.
  3. Workshops and intensive dialogues with independent directors and government leaders, to sensitize them that they indeed have the power to expedite the transformation to new paradigms of leadership.

Measures & Targets

Over the next two years – it is our mission to engage with at least two hundred decision-makers and policy-initiators from diverse sectors in business and civil society, to get them aligned with the key precepts of ‘Inclusive Capitalism’, to an extent that they become the enthusiastic torch-bearers and discernible catalysts for spearheading this threshold transformation. We will periodically evaluate both – the effectiveness of our efforts to achieve the stated goals, as well as the tangible progress parameters.

As a support measure, we shall continue to occasionally publish articles, as well as share recordings and transcripts of our conversations and interviews on the new societal forces that are radically transforming the way business will be conducted hereafter. We also propose to bring out a book on the new realities and their relentless impact on every aspect of how a corporation will be governed.
