In 2019, the Company established a Framework Agreement as part of all contractual documents with suppliers that will require compliance with the same national and international environmental regulations and standards the Company complies with.

Brunello Cucinelli commits to identify and implement measures to improve its employees' work environment and health by introducing preventive measures to meet specific corporate departments and individual workers' needs.

Objectives

Brunello Cucinelli will continue to identify and implement measures to improve its employees' work environment and health.

Metrics & Targets

The Company will continue a 2015 “Ergonomics Project” to meet specific corporate departments’ needs and those of individual workers. Moving forward, the Company will build on the successes of implementing preventive measures (e.g., purchasing more effective ergonomic office chairs and improving workstations) to enhance the health and comfort of employees.

Brunello Cucinelli commits to reducing its environmental footprint by moving office electricity suppliers to renewable energy.

Objectives

Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and carbon footprint.

Metrics & Targets

Starting in 2019, the Company began changing its electricity suppliers for its offices in Italy to renewable energy. Management is now reviewing other improvement measures, such as switching company cars to greener models to reduce the Company’s carbon footprint further.

Objectives

Reduce paper waste through company-wide digitization strategies to align with the Paris Agreement commitments.

Metrics & Targets

As part of the recently launched Green Project, Brunello will actively promote the digitization of its processes and raise employee awareness of paper use and printing to increase efficiency and cut costs but, most importantly, they will allow the Company to align to the Paris Agreement commitments gradually.
