Boloro is committed to fraud prevention, transparency and financial inclusion through secure authentication in the hands of each person, seeking to impact at least 11+ million people in India and Africa in the next 12-24 months.

Activities & Initiatives

Boloro is committed to eliminating fraud, promoting financial inclusion, and protecting privacy by putting identity verification and transaction security in each person's hands using their mobile phone. Boloro is working with governments, banks, mobile network operators, and others. We are open to collaboration with anyone. To Boloro, true financial inclusion requires access to credit. Access to credit typically involves a history of payments that demonstrate creditworthiness. This can be difficult, if not impossible, to establish in cash-based economies. Boloro Authentication prevents fraud and promotes transparency with secure authentication of a transaction on each end, creating an audit trail of successful transactions to demonstrate creditworthiness and achieve financial inclusion.

Measures & Targets

Boloro Authentication is currently available in India, parts of Africa, and parts of the Middle East, including Palestine. We are targeting growth of at least 25% in each of these markets in 2021, which would mean 10+ million lives impacted in India and 1+ million lives in Africa over the next 12-24 months. In addition, Boloro is working on other markets, including the USA, Europe, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Boloro Authentication has a target of being tested with at least one licensee in each region by the end of the 2nd quarter of 2021, and deployed with at least one licensee in each region by the end of the 3rd quarter of 2021. To achieve these targets, Boloro is working with governments, banks, mobile network operators and others, and open to collaboration with anyone involved with the Council for Inclusive Capitalism.
