Attollo
Attollo offers peer-to-peer advisory group and coaching services to business leaders, owners of businesses, CEOs, and presidents. We develop the whole person by helping leaders understand themselves and their companies and the world with the mind of Christ. We use many resources; the Bible, The Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Church, the document Vocation of the Business Leader from the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, and various encyclicals from Pope Leo XIII to Pope Francis that address issues of the economy, business, and the human person as employer and as worker.

Purpose

Attollo works at the intersection of pragmatic business, inspired faith, and grace-filled accountability. We help Catholic business owners, CEOs, and presidents focus on the vital things that will help them grow their business and accelerate them toward what they want in life; peace, outstanding business success, and sanctity. We help them live a fully integrated life by teaching them how to make personal and business decisions informed by the pillars of Catholic Social Teaching by working on their interior development, including leadership skills and business mastery.

If a business leader doesn’t work on getting themself right, they will never get their business right. If they don’t get their business right, they will never have time to know, love, and serve God or their neighbor.

This leadership training is key to attaining the mission of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism: To even care about being TRUSTED, FAIR, RESPONSIBLE, DYNAMIC, SUSTAINABLE and concerned about People | Plant | Governance | Prosperity of all people – one must have a vibrant interior life, an ever-deepening friendship with God, and a genuine love for their neighbor – who as Jesus said – is everyone. If not, life is simply a single-minded pursuit to benefit the self.

We believe it is vital to state clearly to the world the set of our beliefs about Inclusive Capitalism. As such, we start with our Statement of Guiding Principles for Inclusive Capitalism. Knowing that words alone are not enough, each of us is making a series of commitments about how we will operate our institutions so that they help achieve Inclusive Capitalism. These commitments are forward-looking statements based on current goals, expectations and assumptions, which are not guarantees of future performance. Summary

Attollo will work with the leadership of member organizations to transform the corporate culture to reflect the principles of Catholic social teaching within three to five years of joining the Attollo network.

Activities & Initiatives

Help the leadership of each organization to build their business from the culture up to be a force for good by using a framework that is rooted in Catholic social teaching. This new corporate culture will: Protect the dignity of the human person the firm interacts with including the employees, customers, suppliers, others in the community, and of course shareholders. If we do this, shareholder return will increase as well. We will Promote solidarity - We are to make conscientious efforts to improve the conditions (i.e. the dignity) of everyone our business interacts with; employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, and the communities where we operate. Attollo will prioritize Upholding the common good or ensuring the conditions which allow all people in the organization to reach their fulfillment more fully and easily. We will Adopt subsidiarity as a best practice. It allows for co-creation by addressing issues at the most local level. It is gravely wrong to take from employees what they can accomplish by their own initiative. The dignity of the human person is protected by giving employees the responsibility and authority to make decisions and act to get things done.

Measures & Targets

We will work with 100% of the leadership of all its member companies to transform their company culture to align with Catholic social teaching within 3 – 5 years of joining Attollo.
