African Renaissance Sustainable Development (ARSD)
The African Renaissance Sustainable Development (ARSD) is a non-partisan and non-profit making organisation. A wraparound philanthropic organisation committed to be the innovators of sustainable socio-economic development framework that addresses present and future humanitarian needs in Africa. In order to champion the cause of retrogressive economic backwardness, ARSD is keen to extract National Development endeavours complimenting African Government efforts, unpack United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030, translate African Union Agenda 2063 and stimulate these key benchmarks into practical socio-economic development action programs within African communities. ARSD’s initiative project is to motivate action concerted efforts towards socio-economic development recognition and recovery from the COVID pandemic that is coupled with other interconnected challenges, such as climate change, persisting poverty, rising gender and other prevalent inequalities, rapid technological changes and social illness. In the wake of COVID-19 pandemic, ARSD commits its entire organisation in supporting Vison 2030 and promoting African Union Agenda 2063 through policy translation, building network by facilitating community sustainable socio-economic development and gender equality. ARSD in partnership with African Governments, African Union, SADC, international embassies and other stakeholders, will jointly plan, design and aim to transform the economy from an organic based economy to research-knowledge-driven economy through instilling life projects, implementing sustainable socio-economic growth initiatives that will guarantee food nutrition and security. In the same spirit, ARSD will endeavour to participate in any program that will embrace international best practices in climate change resilience and environmental preservation. The organisations seek to create human capital development program that will promote fundamental pillars of natural resources management, green economy, digital economy and social protection.
