We are dedicated to taking steps towards sustainable and green initiatives. To promote the reduction of carbon emission and prioritize environmentally friendly sustainable transportation Ad Maiora purchased an electric corporate car with the aim to use it for meetings with clients around the city. We believe that incorporating Hybrid Working protocol, that implies our employees working remotely 70% of the time will positively contribute to even further reduction of our carbon footprint.
In 2022 we will mobilize an additional investment to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable environment. We are committed to eliminating plastic use internally and using only recyclable supplies. As of 2021 we are terminating use of plastic water bottles by installing a water cooler that has been manufactured with sustainable materials, with compliance to the European directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. We will continue to further improve our metrics to prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health.
As longtime participants in the digital industry, we are continuing our shift towards advancement of technology and reducing paper use as much as possible in our business processes. We have invested in IT and AI tech solutions, we use E-Signature and Digital Identity for necessary administrative actions. And with Italian Government taking steps to further develop e-government features, we hope to further decrease our paper use percentage year by year. Moving from paper to digital documents is a critical step in the digital transformation that companies have to take in order to provide tremendous benefits for the safety of our planet, and we are committed to maintaining this conversation by focusing on our steps towards sustainable and green initiatives.
