Accountable Impact
Accountable Impact’s long-term goal is to advance the SDGs by working with local governments to improve governance in sustainable development through a Voluntary Local Review (VLR), a process in which local governments work on a voluntarily assessment on their progress in the implementation of the Agenda 2030. Our mission is aspirational, objective and laser-focused on targeted systems change by presenting the Sustainable Development Goals as a blueprint for the future. We envision a space for interdisciplinary and multisectoral collaboration while consistently testing assumptions and asking questions about what is needed to achieve the Agenda 2030. We develop initiatives across sectors focusing on the three pillars of sustainable development; social progress, economic growth and environmental protection.

Purpose

Accountable Impact’s mission is to advise policy makers, public administrators, corporate leaders, and key city stakeholders in identifying challenges faced by cities and developing strategic solutions by adopting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework locally. As a social enterprise, we activate networks that use the SDGs framework as a pathway to systems change that must balance social, economic and environmental sustainability.
