Ramez Sousou is Founder and Co-Chair of TowerBrook Capital Partners, a purpose-driven international investment firm headquartered in London and New York.
Ramez was previously co-head of Soros Private Equity and a member of the Management Committee of Soros Fund Management. Prior to that, he was a senior member of the Principal Investments group of Goldman Sachs.
Ramez is a member of the board of Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Global Advisory Council of Harvard University, the Steering Committee of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism, the Board of Directors of the US/Middle East Project, and he is Chair of the Steering Committee of Teach for Palestine. He is a former board member of Habitat for Humanity International, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), the Lambeth Trust, and Alpha International. He was also the founding chairman of the Private Equity Foundation (now Impetus Trust).
He is a graduate of Harvard College, where he was a Harvard College Scholar, and Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
