Lilan Dayananda is a social tech entrepreneur and a co-founder and the CEO of ELZIAN AGRO. He is a Commonwealth Youth Awardee for Excellence in Development Works in 2022 which was presented by The Commonwealth and nominated for Queen’s Commonwealth Trust Youth Award 2022. He is a special degree holder in Business Management from the University of Kelaniya and a Certified Organic Agribusiness Practitioner. He is a successful graduate of Silicon Valley based Founder Institute’s accelerator program. For years, his initiative organization has come up with award-winning innovative solutions that can apply to Precision Agriculture. His aim through his startup ELZIAN AGRO is to provide effective sustainable solutions to end hunger in all its forms. ELZIAN AGRO provides innovative smart agronomy solutions to farmers who face problems with extreme weather changes and limited resources and offers customized monitoring information to make rational decisions in Organic Agriculture. Lilan thrives on his startups to utilize the newest technologies like the internet of things, automation, machine learning, artificial intelligence, blockchain, drone technologies, mobile applications, and web applications to optimize the harvest.
