Kingsley Bangwell is Founder of Youngstars Development Initiative and most recently CoFounder, KNOSK N100/25Cents A Day Charity School, he is also an ASHOKA Fellow, a YGL Alumnus of the World Economic Forum, an Alumnus of different prestigious fellowships including Harvard Kennedy Leadership School of Public Policy, Yale University 21st Century Leadership Module, Stanford Democracy and Leadership Program, an alumnus of the prestigious International Visitors Leadership Program – United States Exchange Program among others.

In 1995 at age 21 Kingsley started Youngstars Foundation in a local barber shop in Jos, Plateau state which has grown to have its headquarters in Abuja and also registered in Accra Ghana. Kingsley is passionate about building young people and strengthening youth organizations to deliver development impact in the areas of governance, leadership, entrepreneurship, gender and education. Some flagship projects associated with Kingsley Bangwell include but not limited to Vote Not Fight Campaign with Nigeria A-List Artist Tuface Idibia, Thinking School Africa – Innovation bootcamp in Dubai and Nigeria, Young Aspirant Leadership Fellowship that produced 23 parliamentarians in the 2019 Nigeria general elections, Female And More self esteem and leadership project implemented in over 300 secondary schools nationwide, reaching over 6,500 teen girls and curating an online platform of over 18,000 young females across Africa.

Most recently, with his wife, an education innovator, they cofounded KNOSK-N100/25cents A-Day Charity Secondary School to provide access to quality and skills-based education to children from poorest households in Kuje – Abuja Nigeria. KNOSK School offers a pay-as-you-can, pay-as-you-go and fees subsidy through a public crowd-matching scheme. He envisions building several KNOSK Schools by 2040 to cater for thousands of secondary school students from low-income families across Africa.

Kingsley Bangwell has travelled to about 30 countries speaking and facilitating youth sessions. Together with his wife they cohost Family Street Radio Show every Sunday on 99.9 KISS FM by 7-8pm, and he coordinates the Teens in his local church.
