Kiera Peltz is the CEO of The Coding School, a 501(c)(3) tech education nonprofit focused on preparing the next generation with the technical skills necessary for the future of work. Starting The Coding School from her college dorm room, she has grown the organization into a global leader in emerging technology education with over 50,000 students and educators trained across 120+ countries.

In addition to her work advancing access, equity, and inclusion in tech, Kiera is passionate about creating happier societies. She graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a double major in Political Science and Happiness, an independent major that explores through a multidisciplinary approach the Science of Happiness. She also holds masters degrees in Sociology and Economics from the University of Cambridge and Tsinghua University, respectively. Additionally, she has worked for the Royal Government of Bhutan’s Gross National Happiness Commission and Erasmus Happiness Economics Research Organization (EHERO).

Kiera is a Schwarzman Scholar, Gates-Cambridge Scholar, Coca-Cola Scholar, and Forbes 30 Under 30 for Social Impact honoree.
