Dr. Francis Kuria Kagema is a distinguished leader in interreligious dialogue and advocacy, holding dual roles as the Secretary General of Religions for Peace International and the African Council of Religious Leaders-Religions for Peace (ACRL-RfP). With over 15 years of diverse experience spanning peace advocacy, governance, environmental protection, and financial analysis, Dr. Kuria’s career reflects a deep commitment to fostering understanding among people of different faiths.

As the Regional Secretary for the African Council of Religious Leaders-Religions for Peace, Dr. Kuria has spearheaded initiatives addressing critical social issues and innovative programs focused on health and children. He played a pivotal role in enhancing strategic direction and operational efficiency, while mobilizing global networks such as the International Youth Council and the Women of Faith Network. Under Dr. Kuria’s leadership, IRCK has actively responded to societal needs, addressing issues ranging from HIV/AIDS orphans to conflict resolution and peacebuilding.

Dr. Kuria’s dedication to interreligious dialogue extends beyond Kenya. He tirelessly fosters understanding and cooperation among diverse faith traditions across Africa, aiming to transform violent conflicts, promote human development, and protect the environment.
