Dan is Managing Director at O’Neil Cinemas. He has 27 years of motion picture exhibition industry experience and is a seasoned executive responsible for successful implementations of organizational business strategies as they relate to innovative technological industry concepts and business operations. He has been an integral part of O’Neil Cinemas’ development and marketing of motion picture entertainment centers.

In 2011 Dan became the Chief Operating Officer, President & Co-Founder of Axis Ventures, Inc., a start-up project in partnership with Vortex Immersion Media, Inc. an immersive entertainment technology company creating next-generation 360-degree entertainment venues and programming for immersive cinema, live performance, experiential marketing and themed entertainment with a focus on transformational media genres. The project explored the design and function of an innovative and extraordinary, multidimensional, next-generation digital out-of-home entertainment (DOE) market center and the viability if this center to be the delivery system for a wide spectrum of socially engaging, immersive, interactive entertainment options meant for a broad audience; the home to the future of storytelling. A truly original concept, yet built upon the time-tested business model of delivering imaginative, emotionally charged experiences that story tellers, artists and producers can provide through multi-media attractions in technologically advanced venues.

Dan currently sits on the Board of Directors for TONE (Theater Owners of New England), a regional trade association of motion picture theatre owners. Dan is a member of the National Association of Theater Owners (NATO). A graduate of Providence College, he holds a BS in Business Administration. Dan is also a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program administered through Babson College. Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is an investment to help small businesses grow and create jobs by providing them with greater access to education, capital, and business support services. To date, more than 10,000 business owners have graduated from the program across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico.
