DANIEL ALFREDO MATERON OSORIO

| COMPAÑIA DE CREDITO RAPIDOS - RAPICREDIT

| CEO

As CEO of Rapicredit, Daniel A. Materón’s purpose is to integrate and bring credit solutions to the millions of Colombians who do not have access to traditional banking, and who in many cases are served by informal credit, that allow them to improve their lives and credit solutions. He believes that the best effect is produced when the players in the ecosystem are integrated to provide solutions to Colombians or complement them, bringing about the financial inclusion required for social development, and that Colombia is the platform to make the leap to the Latin American region.

He is a Systems Engineer from EAFIT University in Medellin, with a Master’s Degree in Marketing from EAFIT University – CESA, and a Master’s Degree in Ibero-American Social Security Systems from the University of Alcalá de Henares. He has remarkable experience in management, direction and leadership to develop new businesses. Mr. Materón has been part of intrapreneurship development teams for prestigious national and international organizations.

He has an administrative and commercial profile, and stands out for his leadership skills and potential development of work teams, which has allowed him to be recognized for the fulfillment of goals and the achievement of results. He is highly adaptable to change and to working in difficult situations, a key ingredient in entrepreneurial processes.

The experience, knowledge and skills he acquired during his time at organizations such as Suramericana de Seguros and Liberty Seguros, led him to become an entrepreneur and create, together with Juan Esteban Saldarriaga, Rapicredit, a fintech in the lending category that offers fast and easy loans seeking to develop products and services that foster the financial inclusion of Colombians.

RapiCredit, which to date has granted more than two million loans, has recently obtained, from strategic funders, quotas for more than US$15 million to be used as working capital, and has forged alliances with important entities in the country such as Su Red. It also expects to expand its operations in Central America and the region in the coming years.
