Anish Nagar is an impact-focused technologist, investor, and young civic leader from Houston, Tx. Anish began his career as a technology consultant and subsequently transitioned to enterprise software business development and early-stage tech venture investing. In the community, Anish was appointed to the city’s Board of Public Trusts (The Houston Foundation) in 2018 by the Mayor Turner,  is the Chair of the NexGen Exchange, a young professionals organization, and mentors nonprofits & social enterprises across the nation. Anish also serves on the Steering Committee of the Texas Impact Alliance, the first statewide organization working to scale social and environmental impact by uniting stakeholders across the private and public sectors.

Anish believes in driving impact through data — specifically, managing outputs to maximize outcomes. As the CEO of Corecentra, his mission is to help organizations maximize their social ROI and increase outcome effectiveness.

He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and is an avid fan of Longhorn athletics (recent performance notwithstanding).

A few fun facts about Anish: He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he captained the campus Bhangra dance team to several championships. Anish also enjoys watching countless reruns of The Office and is an avid powerlifter. His passions also include mental health awareness (specifically entrepreneur burnout), leadership coaching, and team building.
