| Rethinking Capital

| Founder

Andrew Watson is a father of five and a founder of Rethinking Capital. By background, he is a commercial lawyer and General Counsel.

In 2001, Andrew, began a 22-year journey to solve what’s known as the intangibles problem. Described by Bill Gates as “the economy has changed but all the rules that govern the economy haven’t kept up”.

Solving it began with a taxonomy called the Intangibles Tree which was the beginning of Andrew’s wisdom. Its last stages were to solve the accounting challenge. He can’t thank enough the accounting rockstars who have guided him here. Having solved the problem, the challenge now is to begin the path to adoption.
