Alexandre Mars began his career as an entrepreneur at 17 by creating a concert organization company at his high school. Since then, he has successfully launched and sold several start-ups in Europe and North America.

After selling his last two startups Scroon and PhoneValley, to Blackberry and Publicis, Alexandre Mars, while living in the U.S., put his expertise as an entrepreneur to work for social causes by creating Epic, a global foundation that identifies, selects, supports, and monitors organizations in order to catalyze their direct action on underserved children and young people, but also on the ecosystems that affect their lives.

Alexandre Mars is also the founder of blisce/, a growth- stage venture capital fund that helps entrepreneurs build mission-driven global consumer brands and technology companies. Since its creation, blisce/ has invested in companies such as Spotify, Pinterest Too Good to Go, Headspace and Brut., In 2020, blisce/ was the first transatlantic growth-stage venture capital fund to become B Corp certified.

Alexandre Mars was named a Knight of the Legion of Honor, France’s highest civilian award order, in 2019. He has also been named a “Top 50 Philanthropist of The Year” (Town & Country, 2019), one of “The 50 Most Influential French People” (Vanity Fair, 2018) and a “Top 20 Philanthropist Under 40” (The New York Observer, 2015).

Alexandre Mars is the author of La Révolution du Partage, (Editions Flammarion/Versilio, 2018), of Giving: Purpose is the New Currency (HarperOne/HarperCollins, 2019) and of Ose ! Tout le monde peut devenir entrepreneur (Editions Flammarion/Versilio, 2020). He also hosts a podcast called PAUSE.

Alexandre Mars is a board member and ambassador of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic & Paralympic Games.
